Juan delGado Video Description

The video begins with three horizontal frames of moving image. In the background, one can hear the sound of water lapping on a shore. Throughout the video, the number and width of the frames changes. The moving images change character and come to focus on a woman. The woman is in a wheelchair. The clips change throughout the video, focusing on the woman, shots of nature, and clips of a sailboat being rigged. The audio that accompanies the individual clips is layered, so that when there are three images on the screen you can hear the audio from all three clips. Towards the end of the video, a woman’s voice can be heard over the audio at the end of the video. She talks about how the water made her feel comfortable for the first time in years.
